There are so many ways to help!

While rescuing animals is wonderfully gratifying, it is also an expensive venture.  Before an animal can even be deemed available for adoption, (s)he has to go to the vet and have tests done, be brought current on vaccinations, and be spayed or neutered.  And more often than not when dealing with animals pulled off the street or out of shelter situations, there are illnesses to treat (heartworms, kennel cough, parvo exposure), and pricey treatments medications to buy.  

Then there are the daily costs associated with having more than 80 animals in your shelter.  Obviously, the food bill is huge. There is also heartworm and flea and tick preventative.  And there are things that no one even thinks about, like bleach to clean up after the animals, laundry detergent to wash the sheets and blankets, toys to keep the animals entertained, the list goes on.  

While most weekends you can find us about town at different events selling homemade dog treats and other pet-related items to raise money, it isn't always enough.  Every penny we raise goes directly back to the animals in our care.  But as a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on the generosity of others to allow us to continue our work.  In an effort to make it as easy as possible for our fabulous supporters, you can click on the PayPal donation button to the right to make a monetary donation.  Once on the site, click Send and enter our email address, nttsars@yahoo.com and the amount you would like to donate.  Thank you for your generous support!
